Fools think there is beauty
in every molecule
of every person,
believe that if they dig deep enough
that they will find that good,
tender, caring bone,
but fools are fools.
I think there are minimal amounts
of beauty of goodness in this unnecisarily
cold body of mine.
Dig deep, and you will find nothing but
records that will tell you
that I've always been a liar,
a lover, a dreamer who wishes
too much, a poet, a critic and
a person who sees the worst in people
before they ever see the good.
Dig deep, and I'll be surprized
if you fine anything
worth your time.
